NEWSFLASH: Elephant collared in Mintom...details in online diary!

The Fall 2008 elephant collaring season in Cameroon begins on 4 November 2008. The team will attempt to deploy three collars in the Mintom region. Dr. Mike Loomis, Chief Veterinarian at the NC Zoo and a member of the collaring team, will be sharing his online field diary and his written field notes over the course of this project.
